Oil Pastel
In this project, we used a blank canvas, baby oil, chalk pastels, a landscape photo with a horizon, and a paint brush to create an oil pastel painting. An artist can create by blending elements, as evident in this project. For example, both water and paint can be used to create a nice wash effect, and it can completely change the style of art. The point of view of a picture can completely change it. Having multiple aspects lined up in a certain way can make the photo much more visually appealing to the eye. This project is a good example. Having a point of view where the horizon line is well defined can help change the feel of the photo so much. Overall, this project taught a lot about combining tools, and proper points of view in photos.
